We are seeking Helicopter Maintenance Control Supervisors for our AHTS contract at NAS Whiting Field, Milton, FL. The successful candidates will be responsible for technical, professional and administrative duties to ensure contract compliance and reporting as defined in Naval Aviation Maintenance Program Standard Operating Procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations, Original Equipment Manufacturer manuals, applicable ISO, and Navy Instructions.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of NALCOMIS/OOMA aircraft maintenance software, ALSS, engine and support equipment configuration management, data base management, reports, and processes.
- Demonstrate the necessary leadership and management skills to lead the assigned maintenance workforce, which in addition to maintenance control may include one or more of the following work centers: scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, flight line, aviation life support systems, ground support equipment and off site aircraft repair/recovery.
- Must be able to meet Navy qualification requirements and be certified to release aircraft safe for flight within 90 days of assignment to the position.
- Responsible to the Maintenance Manager in performing those duties assigned.
- Supervise, plan, coordinate and direct the activities of the assigned maintenance team in the maintenance and repair of TH-57 and/or TH-73 aircraft and support of flight training operations.
- Ensure compliance with the government contract (PWS), NAMP program, company, maintenance instructions, and company policies and procedures to ensure safe and expeditious support of the Navy’s Flight Training Program.
- Perform analysis and work load planning to ensure customer service, company goals and contract metrics are met. These include, but are not limited to estimating/tracking personnel requirements for a multi-shift operation as well as scheduling and coordinating overtime requirements.
- Evaluate existing methods, systems and potential improvements for compliance with maintenance requirements and to ensure cost effectiveness, productivity and personnel safety.
- Submit to the Maintenance Manager any recommendations for manpower, materials, facilities and capital equipment.
- Ensure Maintenance/Work Instructions are established and issued to define and/or clarify maintenance procedures specified in government directives or not outlined in available technical data. Recommend update and corrections as needed.
- Team with the Quality Manager to analyze maintenance data to identify trends and deficiencies.
- Ensure data accuracy and produce Daily Aircraft Status Reports and other reports as required in support of aircraft maintenance and periodic required reports.
- Will keep the Maintenance Manager apprised on the status of work in progress and coordinate with other work centers and departments as required to accomplish tasks.
- Must be trained in corrosion control methods and procedures.
- May be designated as the Company’s Weight and Balance Officer if qualified.
- Monitor and assist the line move crew when operating inside the hangar.
- May be required to handle hazardous materials in performance of assigned duties.
