Aircraft Mechanic (A&P Certificated)

This position reports directly to the Lead Mechanic and is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and repairs as assigned.

Position Summary: This position reports directly to the Lead Mechanic and is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and repairs as assigned.

• Must have an A&P Certificate
• Strong attention to detail
• Reports to assigned Lead Mechanic
• Performs maintenance and repairs in accordance with prescribed practices and procedures
• Completes paperwork as directed
• Keeps the shop work area clean and organized as directed.
• Fleet includes: 8 x Cessna 172's, 2 x Piper Singles (Warrior & Arrow), 2 x Piper Twins (Aztec & Apache), 1 x Cessna 421, 2 x Robinson Helicopters (R-22 & R-66)
• Contributes to a safe work environment by reporting workplace hazards
• Ensures compliance with all 14 CFR part 91/141 regulations

• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English
• Previous Robinson Helicopter maintenance experience (R-66 preferred)
• Must have knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraft
• Must be able to pass a company background and drug test

• Flight line and hangar at times in inclement weather
• Work around chemicals, solvents, and paints
