Service Measure (SM) is a field data collection company founded in 2013 in New York. We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges.
objective
The goal of the project is to help collect images of streets, main points of interest and public areas in the USA. The project is performed on cars with 360 cameras mounted on top that image the area around the vehicle and store those images on computers inside the vehicle. Later, this data will be used to enhance one of the most popular online maps in the world.
Responsibilities- Collect data by driving specific routes around public streets and areas, targeting commercial districts and historical sites.
- Capture images, videos, and other data as required; ensure data quality and completeness.
- Adhere to schedules and route plans; work in variable weather conditions and may be required to visit areas multiple times to obtain best imaging quality.
- Monitor vehicle data collection equipment as needed and ensure data is stored securely for later processing.
Project schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week). Due to weather downtime, weekend work is possible.
Requirements- Must have a valid Driver Licence
- Good driving skills and a clean driving record
- General car knowledge is a plus
- Enjoys driving within standard business hours
- Available for a minimum of 3 months
- Must have private monitored parking space for corporate vehicle
- Great communication and reporting skills
- Tech savvy (drivers will use Gmail, Google Forms and Google Meet)
- High level of responsibility; self-motivated and detail oriented
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check (criminal and driving record)
