Job DetailsWe are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee ground‑up multifamily construction projects in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. The role requires strong leadership, coordination with subcontractors, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient job site.
Responsibilities- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Review and analyze project specifications, ensuring all requirements and objectives are met.
- Coordinate and supervise a team of construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on time.
- Plan and manage construction schedules, adjusting as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Identify and resolve any potential issues or delays that could impact project timelines or budgets.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Ensure all safety and compliance measures are met at all times.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders.
- Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
- Proven experience in ground‑up construction, apartments, multifamily units, and wood‑frame construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.
- Valid certification in construction safety and a valid driver's license.
