Benefits Administrator

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000

CFS has partnered with a higher education institution in seeking a Benefits Administrator to manage employee benefit programs and serve as a key resource for faculty and staff. This role is responsible for benefits administration, leave management, compliance, vendor coordination, and employee support.

Responsibilities:

• Administer health, dental, vision, life, retirement, and other employee benefit programs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and enrollment changes.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment and communicate benefit updates.
• Manage leaves of absence and workers' compensation programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state benefits regulations, including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
• Partner with Payroll, Finance, and benefits vendors to ensure accurate processing and reporting.
• Maintain employee benefit records and assist with audits and regulatory filings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of benefits administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits, leaves, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
