• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:00am)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,470 – $2,540

ER RN Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS (required); TNCC (required); PALS or ENPC (preferred)
• Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medication tests during onboarding (one attempt only, 85% passing score)
• Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from facility (no local travelers)
• Must be available for specified start date; no time off approved around Christmas
• All RTO requests must be submitted at application
• Not eligible if employed as permanent staff at Beth Israel Lahey Health within the last year

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with acute and urgent medical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to emergencies
• Accurately document patient care and interventions
• Complete required orientation and competency testing prior to assignment
