Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Support in Milton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication and customer service skills will support a positive experience for all.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Communicate and collaborate with healthcare personnel and Allied Universal management to report and document incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
- Assist with the implementation of emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations or lockdowns as required by location protocols.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to provide reassurance and assistance to all individuals on the premises.
Minimum Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccination is required for this hospital position.
- Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as part of their duties in a hospital setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
