As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Support in Milton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare personnel and Allied Universal management to report and document incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Assist with the implementation of emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations or lockdowns as required by location protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to provide reassurance and assistance to all individuals on the premises.

Minimum Requirements:

• COVID-19 vaccination is required for this hospital position.
• Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as part of their duties in a hospital setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
