Your Role as a CDL Class B Driver
As a CDL Class B Driver with Orica, you will:
- Drive and operate bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units) to deliver blasting products.
- Perform physical labor, including loading products and installing blasting systems.
- Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of your equipment.
- Prioritize safety and environmental responsibility in all operations.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Local driving (2-3 hours)
- Early morning starts (2:30 AM - 3:30 AM)
- Approximately 10-12 hours per day
- Overtime may be required
- Up to 10% overnight travel may be necessary
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Safely hook up and unhook trailers.
- Drive emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks.
- Handle raw materials and dangerous goods responsibly.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings.
What You Bring
- At least one year of experience driving and/or handling materials preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations is essential.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Attention to detail and good math skills for inventory management.
Physical Requirements
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Lift up to 60 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more.
- Perform tasks such as loading products and climbing on/off trucks.
- Engage in frequent bending and squatting.
Your Qualifications
- Class B CDL required;
Class A is a plus. - Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred (support for obtaining endorsements available).
- High School diploma or equivalent.

Compensation
- Hourly Pay Range: $28.00 - $30.00
- Signing Bonus: $4,500
(Salary is determined by experience, knowledge, skills, and market alignment.)
