This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position. Pay is $20.11 – $22 per hour depending on experience, plus a $2 shift premium per hour
. Additional compensation includes a $2,500 retention bonus and a profit‑sharing bonus of 5%. Comprehensive benefits are offered, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.
- Friday to Sunday, 6 am – 6 pm ET
- Position may require occasional off‑shift, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.
In March 2025, Perrigo announced that operations at the Milton, VT facility will be migrated to our plant in Eau Claire, WI, with an estimated sunset date of July 2027. Production operations will continue for approximately two years. Perrigo offers a competitive severance package: 52 weeks of base pay, bonus, and company‑paid COBRA for employees with at least 12 months tenure at closure;
36 weeks for shorter tenure. These terms align with the Perrigo Severance Policy for U.S. employees.
- Responsible for environmental cleaning and sanitation of process equipment and manufacturing area daily.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists.
- Respond to out‑of‑trend cleaning data and perform root‑cause investigations.
- Prepare and document all cleaning solutions; prep cleaning equipment for manual lifting and moving of equipment and/or chemicals.
- Verify concentrations and effectiveness of sanitation solutions.
- Trained on chemical handling and use.
- Willingness and ability to cross‑train on different production machinery.
- Operate and navigate computer applications.
- Assist operators with labor duties related to CIP, dry cleans, wet washes, assembly/disassembly of equipment, silo switches, start‑ups and shut‑downs; handle animal feed and rework per GMP, SOP, and WI; operate a vacuum‑sealing machine.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED (verified before employment).
- Reading, writing, and comprehending English sufficient to follow safety protocols, SOPs, WIs, regulatory signage, and verbal instructions.
- Ability to perform duties safely, efficiently, and sanitarily.
- Computer and system navigation skills.
- Excellent attendance record and work history.
- Legible writing for documentation.
- Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 55 pounds regularly.
- Standing and walking for 10+ hours per shift.
- Exposure to noise, high temperatures, chemicals, and industrial equipment.
- Must wear required safety equipment and garments.
- Work from ladders, scaffolding, and staging.
