Perrigo Nutritionals is looking to add a Micro‑Ingredient Dispensing Unit (MIDU) Operator to our Days Crew at our Milton, VT facility.

This is a full time, non‑exempt position with a starting pay rate at $25/hour on a 12‑hour shift running from 6am‑6pm ET on a repeating 2‑2‑3 schedule on a biweekly cadence (Week A: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat; Week B: Sun, Wed, Thurs). A comprehensive benefits package is also offered by Perrigo, including but not limited to, health insurance, dental, vision, 401K with match, tuition reimbursement, & a 5% annual bonus.

In March of 2025, Perrigo announced that the current operations at our facility in Milton, VT will be migrated to our plant in Eau Claire, WI at the estimated sunset date of July 2027. However, production operations will continue for approximately the next two years, so we want to make the remaining work experience with us as compelling as possible during that time!

Perrigo is committed to offering a highly competitive severance package for employees who see this project through to completion. At the time of the plant closure, if your tenure length is at least 12 months, you would be entitled to 52 weeks (one year’s worth) of base pay, bonus, and company‑paid COBRA coverage for up to 1‑year following your exit. For employees with less than 12 months’ tenure at the time of plant closure, they will receive 36 weeks (9 months) of base pay, bonus, and COBRA coverage.

These severance offerings would be consistent with the terms of the Perrigo Company plc Severance Policy for U.S. Employees. From a new employee’s start date with Perrigo through their role completion, employment with Perrigo will remain as full‑time, regular, benefits‑eligible, and at‑will employment classification.

Scope of the Role

Performs daily dispensing activities, cleaning (area and equipment), and maintenance; manual lifting; and computer inputting to support all dispensing needs and requirements. Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and State and Federal regulation. May participate as a Team member for CI, RCA, Safety, etc. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Daily dispensing (scheduled and unscheduled) to support the Production, NPPD, Contract Manufacturing schedules; also any MSO’s, QA samples and retests, etc. Precisely follows detailed written procedures and manufacturing instructions;
    Documents legibly, thoroughly, accurately, and completely.
  • Uses CDS, SAP, and DCS computer software to perform daily tasks, able to perform same tasks and documentation manually when necessary.
  • Performs MIDU consumptions in SAP, verifies inventories in SAP, releases etc.
  • Calculates and orders daily raw materials as needed in SAP, from Warehouse, receives this material into 3WS and SAP manually.
  • Cleans MIDU & other area/equipment as directed.
  • Calculates strength-factor adjustments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor; may be required to work short‑notice overtime or short‑notice shift changes as necessary.
