Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for a Accountant
. This company is seeking someone with 4+ years of accounting experience, a proactive mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Prepare and review complex financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes.
• Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts.
• Perform detailed account analyses and reconciliations.
• Supervise the processing of invoices, expenses, and payment transactions.
• Supervise the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze budget variances and provide insight to management.
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
• Supervise, monitor, and support accounting staff.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and readily available for audits and reviews.
• Ad hoc projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
