Senior Accountant at Will Customized Products
Opportunity SnapshotWe’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented senior accountant to join our team and support our day‑to‑day accounting operations. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role that works closely with the VP of Finance and provides key support across financial operations and administrative areas. You’ll play a vital part in keeping our accounting function running smoothly, allowing leadership to focus on strategic initiatives and business growth.
Position is 100% on‑site at our Milwaukee office.
A Day in the Life- Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month‑end journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Assist with the month‑end close process and preparation of financial schedules
- Build and maintain standard reporting tools to support business decision‑making
- Provide audit and administrative support to the VP of Finance and President as needed
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Recommend and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, HR, and procurement
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 35 years of hands‑on accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting operations
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel (Power BI is a plus)
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with executive leadership
- A self‑starter with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
