AP Temp

Vaco is hiring a temporary AP Specialist for your client in Milwaukee, WI.

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Review, verify, and prepare payments to ensure timely processing and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain vendor records and serve as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and account questions.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and support month-end closing activities.
• Assist with expense reimbursement and mileage reporting processes.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record retention for all accounts payable transactions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to obtain approvals and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve workflow efficiency.
• Support the accounting team with additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Previous accounts payable experience required.
• Experience with Blackbaud is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when identifying issues or process improvements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
