Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

Part-Time 20 hours per week

Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities using Quick Books Online, ensuring financial records are accurate and current.

- Run payroll for a small employee group and maintain timely, organized payroll documentation.

- Review and process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and keep accounts payable activity on schedule.

- Manage customer billing, record incoming payments, and monitor accounts receivable balances for accuracy.

- Reconcile bank transactions and help maintain clean, balanced financial records.

- Contribute to month-end close tasks and prepare routine financial reports for internal use.

- Provide occasional front office support during staff absences or interview coverage needs.

- Assist with basic human resources-related administrative tasks when needed.

Requirements - Proven experience performing full charge bookkeeping responsibilities in a detail-focused setting.

- Hands-on proficiency with Quick Books Online for daily accounting operations.

- Working knowledge of payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.

- Experience completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial data.

- Ability to work onsite in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for approximately 20 to 30 hours per week.

- Strong attention to detail with clear communication and dependable follow-through.

- Comfort supporting administrative or front office activities in addition to accounting duties.

- Previous exposure to HR-related tasks is helpful but not required.
