Job SummaryIn this role, you will lead the product planning processes for a vertical market, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive innovation and growth. Your objective will be to conduct an in‑depth analysis of the market needs, customer needs, market trends, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation. Additionally, you will develop and execute product strategies, from conception to launch, for vertical markets ensuring alignment with company goals and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the entire product lifecycle for particular verticals, including market research, competitor analysis, roadmap development, technology partnerships, and product launch.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, guiding engineering teams through prototyping and final development stages.
- Create comprehensive product strategy documents outlining business cases and business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development, QA, release, and communication/training.
- Collaborate with marketing to create product positioning and messaging that highlights Amla Commerce’s unique value proposition in the vertical markets.
- 5+ years of proven experience in software product management, with a track record of successfully leading cross‑functional teams.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
- Strong communication skills, including writing, editing, and presentation abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product design, engineering, or related field.
- Previous experience in ecommerce product management.
- Experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Demonstrated success in product development in a non‑managerial role.
- Technical background is a plus.
