Factoring Sales BDO (Vice-President Accounts Receivable Financing) Remote/Nationwide
We are seeking a Business Development Officer (BDO) to join our Accounts Receivable Finance team and accelerate growth through strategic business development.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in factoring and accounts receivable financing to source new business opportunities, build strong referral networks, and expand our presence in key markets. You’ll work independently to prospect and close deals, while collaborating with internal teams to design strategies for penetrating new industry verticals and fostering internal referral channels.
This is a high-impact position for a motivated professional who thrives on networking, relationship-building, and delivering tailored financial solutions to clients.
Responsibilities- Drive New Business: Source and close new accounts receivable financing opportunities through proactive prospecting and relationship development.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Establish and nurture relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs), including lenders, intermediaries, and industry professionals.
- Market Expertise: Clearly communicate ARF’s financial offerings, credit philosophy, and “credit box” to prospects and referral partners.
- Timely Communication: Respond promptly to inquiries from prospects and COIs to build trust and maintain momentum.

- Industry Engagement: Attend networking events, conferences, and trade shows to stay informed and identify new opportunities.
- Adapt and Innovate: Assist in designing plans to penetrate new industry verticals and expand strategic relationships.
- Post‑secondary degree, in a business related field preferred
- 5‑7 years factoring or commercial finance sales experience.
- Established and active network of Centers of Influence (COIs), clients, and prospects within target markets.
- 5–7 years of recent experience in factoring or commercial finance sales, with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated ability to source, qualify, and close new business opportunities independently.
- Strong community presence with active engagement in local business and professional organizations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a client‑focused approach.
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, and results‑driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated aptitude and curiosity for technology and systems, including emerging tools such as AI; ability to quickly learn, adapt, and leverage digital solutions to drive efficiency and innovation.
