We are partnered with Fein Brothers, a 100-year-old, family‑owned food service equipment and design‑build firm based in Milwaukee, to help them hire their next Director of Contract Sales in the Milwaukee area. Fein Brothers is known for its relationship‑driven approach, exceptional customer service, and trusted reputation among general contractors, developers, and operators across the region. The company specializes in complex design‑build projects, delivering thoughtful, high‑quality solutions backed by an experienced in‑house design team.

Position Overview

The Director of Contract Sales will lead and grow Fein Brothers’ contract and design‑build sales efforts. This role is responsible for managing key contractor relationships, overseeing bid and negotiated projects, and serving as the primary commercial lead on assigned accounts. The Director will work closely with the internal design team to translate client needs into successful project outcomes while ensuring a high level of service throughout the project lifecycle.

This role is ideal for a relationship‑oriented sales leader with strong food service equipment knowledge who thrives in a consultative, service‑first environment rather than a transactional bidding model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead contract and design‑build sales initiatives, focusing on projects sourced through general contractors, developers, and long‑standing relationships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and project stakeholders from initial engagement through project completion.
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure accurate equipment scope, pricing, and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal design team, providing high‑level input and customer context while design staff handles detailed layouts and drawings.
  • Manage negotiated and bid projects, ensuring responsiveness, accuracy, and exceptional service.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to internal team members as needed, supporting a collaborative and customer‑focused culture.
  • Represent Fein Brothers professionally in meetings, site visits, and industry interactions.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in food service equipment sales, contract sales, or design‑build environments.
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, specifications, and project workflows.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, and end users.
  • Ability to review drawings and specifications and communicate effectively with design and project teams.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and follow‑up skills.
  • Service‑minded approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Prior leadership or senior‑level sales experience preferred.
