Position Summary The Technical Service Representative
- General Industrial is responsible for supporting sales by providing technical service activities related to coatings applications and formulation troubleshooting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Respond to technical inquiries. Documentation of customer visits and line audits. Provide classroom and hands-on painter training for customers. Assist customers and support sales in general coatings and application knowledge. Recognize sales opportunities when engaging customers. Lead trouble shooting activities at customers and coordinate with sales and laboratory. Evaluate new products to ensure quality. Assist lab with testing and application evaluations.

Assist with issues pertaining to the Powder and GI sales group. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements Education level preferred: bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university. Degree is preferred to be in a Science related field such as Chemistry or Business. Experience level preferred:
Three to five years' experience operating a liquid or powder paint line.
