Position Overview

We are currently have a full‑time Senior Construction Inspector opportunity in our Milwaukee office.

Responsibilities
  • Perform field inspections of roadway and utility construction including sewer, water, asphalt and concrete roadways, and other construction projects.
  • Perform and review material testing of asphalt, concrete and aggregates.
  • Complete accurate daily construction reports, manually or electronically.
  • Ensure all construction is in accordance with state or local specifications.
  • Use survey and data compiled from projects to assist in creating record drawings per municipal standards.
  • Mentor staff.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with a strong understanding of the requirements in inspection, and construction, of municipal sanitary sewer and water systems.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree would be considered a plus.
  • Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather as needed.
  • Ability to compete electronic daily reports (inspection software, Excel, pdf., etc.).
  • Holder of a valid driver's license.
