Project Manager - Heavy Civil

Walbec Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead heavy highway and site construction projects in the local/regional area at our Greenville, WI office. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and profitability within the Heavy Civil Construction division.

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate heavy civil projects (roadwork, sitework, wetland, shoreline stabilization).
• Prepare and submit project schedules and cost reports.
• Participate in estimating, bidding, and profitability management.
• Engage with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in meetings and daily coordination.
• Address delays, weather, and site emergencies to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and enforce site safety plans, ensuring a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Responsible for final cost accountability, quantity reporting, and overall project profitability.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

• 3+ years of experience in heavy civil, road, or site construction.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, and coordination.
• Valid driver’s license; insurable by insurance standards.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Bidding experience.

$60,000 - $150,000 per year.
