The Opportunity:

We are seeking a VP, Creative to lead our creative strategy, execution, and operations across Gametime. This leader will own the development of breakthrough creative that fuels growth, engagement, and brand love. You’ll oversee graphic design, copywriting, creative operations, and partnerships with agencies including video and TV production while shaping how Gametime shows up across every channel.

The ideal candidate is a social- and ad-savvy creative with deep expertise in direct response advertising, who can create high-performing ads that stop the scroll, resonate emotionally, and convert. You’ll bring a voice and creative approach that speaks legitimately to fans in the right tone: human, relevant, and unmissable. You will also explore and responsibly deploy AI to augment creative, improve efficiency, and unlock new possibilities while avoiding inauthentic or negatively perceived AI-generated content.

What You’ll Do

  • Creative Leadership:
    Lead Gametime's creative vision across all channels, from direct response advertising to brand campaigns, ensuring work is bold, distinctive, and performance-driven.
  • Performance Creative:
    Concept, test, and scale ads designed to drive measurable growth, especially across social, digital, and video platforms.
  • Partnership with Brand and Develop Branded Story-Telling:
    Partner with our brand strategy team to develop brand narratives and campaigns that build cultural relevance and resonate with young, diverse audiences.
  • Sports & Music Culture:
    Stay tapped into live events, sports, and music trends, ensuring creative speaks authentically to fans in the moment.
  • Creative Operations:
    Oversee internal creative teams, agency partners, and production processes, ensuring operational excellence and speed-to-market.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Partner with Growth, Product, and Marketing leaders to align creative strategy with company priorities and fan insights.
  • Agency & Production Oversight:
    Manage relationships with agencies and production partners, ensuring world-class work across channels, including TV and long-form video.
  • Experimentation & Insights:
    Drive a test-and-learn culture for creative, using data and performance insights to refine storytelling and optimize impact.
  • AI Curiosity & Deployment:
    Explore, test, and responsibly deploy AI tools to augment creative development and operations, ensuring AI enhances originality and efficiency while safeguarding brand trust.
  • Team Leadership
    :
    Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing creative team passionate about live events and pushing boundaries.

    What We’re Looking For

    • 10+ years of experience leading creative across social, digital, and video platforms in fast-growing consumer brands or digital-first businesses.
    • Proven track record producing high-performing direct response ads and scaling creative that drives measurable business outcomes.
    • Deep understanding of social platforms, performance marketing, and the dynamics of scroll-stopping creative.
    • Passion for live events, sports, and music with cultural fluency and authenticity in speaking to fans.
    • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional creative teams, agencies, and large-scale productions.
    • Excellent storytelling chops: able to translate brand strategy into creative that inspires, connects, and converts.
    • Strong creative instincts paired with a test-and-learn mindset grounded in data and results.
