Overview: UW Credit Union is hiring a group of Bilingual (Spanish/English) Full-Time Tellers to join our member-focused, hardworking Bay View team because of internal promotions and growth! Our Bilingual (Spanish/English) Tellers receive an additional $1.25/hour premium.

As a Full‑Time Teller, you play a key role in forming solid and trusting relationships with members at your branch. Your job is to make a positive impact on members’ lives by accurately performing a variety of transactions to meet their needs. You also work to identify and discuss UW Credit Union products and services to members that are in their best interest, to help them achieve their financial dreams.

• Be the face of UW Credit Union by providing front‑facing member service at the Bay View branch location
• Achieve balanced scorecard results in alignment with Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge in all UW Credit Union products and services
• Ensure all members’ requests are processed accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to UW Credit Union’s Cash Management policies and procedures
• Research all teller transactions when potential errors are identified, and communicate with affected members
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through building rapport, uncovering needs, making recommendations, & submitting referrals
• Consistently seek out opportunities to exceed member expectations
• Help support and maintain member relations with Spanish speaking members

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Demonstrates ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills
• Team player that can confidently jump in where and when you are needed
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment
• Fluent in Spanish

• Schedule:
  
  40 hours a week with availability Monday‑Friday between 8:30 am and 6:15 pm and 6 Saturdays per quarter between 8:30 am and 1:30 pm
