On-site at our new Design Facility in Mequon, WI (suburb of Milwaukee)
Develop innovative, cost-effective, visually appealing, and structurally sound point-of-purchase temporary, semi-permanent displays and signage. The position requires the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Functions- Creates designs, drawings and prototype samples utilizing Artios
CAD software and Kongsberg cutting table. - Acts as a supportive interface between sales, customer service and production.
- Designs within FCG machinery specifications, external outsource vendors, suppliers, and retail environments.
- Participates in client, project management and process improvement meetings as necessary.
- Works with all functional areas to maximize efficiency and smoother workflow with designs.
- Possesses or develops competency in company's management system software.
- Possesses or develops general graphics knowledge relating to structural point-of-purchase design.
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of design areas.
- Assume some management functions in the absence of department manager.
- Facilitating daily design queue meeting, assigning projects and managing overall project timelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned by department manager.
- Proficient in the following programs, applications/software:
- ArtiosCAD
- Adobe Creative Cloud Applications and additional applicable software platforms a plus
- Microsoft Applications:
Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Regularly required to sit, regular use of hands.
- Frequently required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and use foot/feet to operate machine.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee must be able to work under pressure with ever-changing deadlines and priorities and extend the workday when necessary.
- Adheres to company policies and safety requirements.
- Neat in appearance, articulate and able to assist sales with calls on prospects and customers.

- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and flexible.
- Detail oriented.
- Possesses a positive attitude.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with a concentration in Industrial Design, Packaging, and Engineering preferred.
- 5-10 years of applicable relevant experience required.
- Corrugated and multi-material design material proficiency.
