We are representing a multi-disciplinary planning, design, and engineering firm with a long-standing history and a team of several hundred professionals. We are seeking a mission-driven and dynamic leader to guide a team of intellectually and technically talented colleagues who are innovative and creative.

Our group includes experts in landscape architecture and urban design, master planning, and environmental design. As Practice Area Leader
, you will provide strategic leadership, business development, and technical direction, with a strong emphasis on landscape architecture, urban design, and sustainability. Team members hold advanced degrees, professional licensure, registrations, and related credentials. Based in our Midwest headquarters, the team collaborates with colleagues across multiple offices throughout the Midwest and Florida, delivering landscape architecture expertise both regionally and nationally.

The Practice Area Leader will support employees in their personal and professional growth while also expanding the landscape architecture practice locally and across regional offices. Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in landscape architecture
  • Minimum of 8 years of applicable design experience
  • Professional licensure required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, AutoCAD Civil 3D or Revit, and/or GIS software preferred
  • Experience with business development activities including marketing, proposals, and client development
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring staff for career development and advancement
  • Excellence in written communication, quantitative analysis, graphic design, urban design, presentations, and critical thinking
