Be an exceptional collaborator, team player, and passionate educator who inspires students in a diverse, high‑performing environment. You should be organized, detail‑oriented, and skilled in developing rigorous lesson plans.

• Deliver rigorous, engaging instruction and ensure every learner meets or exceeds academic goals.
• Use differentiated instruction, individual and small group strategies to meet each student’s needs.
• Analyze academic data to tailor whole and small‑group instruction.
• Plan and deliver standards‑aligned lesson plans for Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre‑Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, and AP/Advanced courses.
• Adapt instruction for students with IEPs or ELL status.
• Assess proficiency, provide constructive feedback, and promote application of concepts.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress.
• Collaborate on assessment analysis to adjust strategies.
• Prepare students for SAT, ACT, AP exams.
• Integrate technology to enhance learning.

• Build trusting relationships so each child feels known, seen, and loved.
• Serve as cultural and spiritual model, demonstrating God’s love.
• Support character development by modeling Aug Prep Way: integrity, respect, courage, perseverance.

• Communicate proactively with students, families, and colleagues.

• Perform related tasks: hall duty, lunch duty, advising extracurricular activities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Mathematics Teacher (high school level preferred).
• Active participation in a Christian church.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of high school mathematical concepts.
• Team player committed to the St. Augustine Prep mission.
• Experience teaching AP, Honors, or advanced math courses is a plus.
• Expertise in mathematical concepts, reasoning, and problem‑solving strategies.
• Strong background in math pedagogy and support for developing fluency.
