• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned physical education instruction 6th-8th grade students using high-quality curricular materials, instructional best practices, and a balanced approach that builds motor skills, fitness, teamwork, and healthy habits.
• Foster physical literacy, wellness, and sportsmanship through engaging, active, and inclusive lessons that promote movement, skill development, collaboration, and a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs, providing whole-group, small-group, and individualized support while using academic standards, fitness benchmarks, and student data to guide planning and adjust instruction.
• Monitor, assess, and document student learning and physical development through formative and summative assessments, using results to track progress, inform instruction, and improve student outcomes in fitness, skills, and cooperative play.
