Job Description

We're looking for an Applications Analyst to support our Interior Solutions Group (ISG), which focuses on barrier systems and related in‑plant safety products. In this role, you'll provide pre‑sale application support—helping ensure products are applied correctly, configured accurately, and aligned with customer needs. You'll work closely with sales, engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams to review specifications and drawings, answer technical questions, and guide proper product selection and layout.

What You'll Do

As an Applications Analyst, you'll be a key resource for pre‑sale application support—ensuring products are applied correctly, priced accurately, and aligned with customer needs.

In this role, you will:
Technical & Application Support
  • Review specifications, site surveys, approval drawings, construction documents, blueprints, and basic CAD files.
  • Provide application recommendations, configuration support, and technical guidance to sales reps and customers.
  • Troubleshoot basic application issues and elevate complex items to engineering or product management.
Sales Support & Customer Interaction
  • Handle inbound calls and emails with professionalism and urgency.
  • Assist outside sales personnel with quotes and product configurations using Salesforce.
  • Respond to requests for manuals, technical data, parts information, and product literature.
  • Build strong, long‑term relationships with our distribution network to support repeat business.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with engineering, product management, manufacturing, and applications teams to communicate unique application needs.
  • Participate in sales meetings, ISG product training, and occasional trade shows.
  • Support continuous improvement by adhering to quality system procedures.
Documentation & Administration
  • Maintain accurate records of quotes, project information, and correspondence in Salesforce and other systems.
  • Ensure organized document management and a clean workflow across all assigned projects.
What You Bring Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in technical sales support, applications engineering, or a similar role involving product configuration or application analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers and sales representatives.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including the ability to learn new systems, work within CRM tools, and navigate technical software or databases.
  • Basic troubleshooting ability and interest in learning industrial equipment applications.
Preferred
  • Technical training or coursework in mechanical systems, industrial technology, or CAD.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or material handling environments.
  • Ability to interpret and make minor edits to CAD drawings.
  • Familiarity with construction documents, blueprints, or CAD drawings.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Knowledge of barrier systems or safety products.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement or quality system procedures.
