Job OverviewThe Infrastructure Cloud Engineer will bring cloud-specific technical knowledge with the ability to engineer solutions to enforce best practices to ensure our cloud environment is cost efficient, secure, and reliable.
Key Job Responsibilities- Collaborate with application teams to align deployments with cloud architecture best practices
- Create and support scripts and automation for the deployment of infrastructure and controls
- Help set the direction for multiple cloud initiatives
- Contribute to documentation detailing designs, policies, and procedures
- Maintain continuing education on the latest standards, trends, and best practices
- Mentor junior team members and openly share knowledge to strengthen the team and the organization
- Associate or bachelor’s degree, or other + strong experience
- 3 or more years of cloud experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and collaborative communication skills
- Experience with cloud well-architected frameworks and best practices
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Bicep and Terraform
- Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Power Shell, Python
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and platforms like Dev Ops, Git Hub, Git Lab
- Infrequent travel between Milwaukee and Tucson
- Experience with cloud network architectures (DNS, firewalls, NSGs, VWAN, Express Route, VPN)
- Experience with logging and monitoring (diagnostic settings, flow logs, traffic analytics, log analysis and response)
- Experience with cloud-native security tools (Defender, Sentinel, Azure Policy, other)
- Experience with code and infrastructure scanning tools (Sonar Qube, Rapid7, Wiz.io, other)
- Experience with cloud cost optimization
- Cloud and/or security related certifications
