Position Summary:
This is a hands‑on engineering role supporting the design and development of advanced electronic circuits and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for lighting and control systems used across automotive, agricultural, and commercial applications. The Electrical Engineer II will collaborate with mechanical, optical, and firmware teams to deliver innovative, high‑quality products from concept through production.
This opportunity is ideal for an engineer with several years of circuit and PCB design experience who wants to expand into broader product ownership — including system‑level integration, testing, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits and PCB layouts for lighting and control products.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure robust system integration across mechanical, firmware, and optical engineering.
- Conduct design verification, testing, and troubleshooting within in‑house labs.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing new product development and sustaining engineering activities.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, test plans, and reports.
- Partner with purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure component availability, cost optimization, and manufacturability.
- Contribute to design improvements related to EMI/EMC performance, power efficiency, and reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3–7+ years of experience in electronic circuit and PCB design.
- Proficiency in Altium Designer (experience with PADS a plus).
- Working knowledge of firmware integration, embedded systems
, and product lifecycle development. - Understanding of automotive or off‑highway electrical systems
, including lighting, power supply, or motor control applications. - Familiarity with CAN communication
, simulation tools
, and EMI/EMC design principles
. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Base salary range: $71,000 – $105,000
, depending on experience - Annual performance‑based bonus
