Senior Test Engineer

$70.00/hr - $80.00/hr

Shift/Core Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (may be asked to come in early or stay late for projects)

Interview Process: Phone/Virtual Screening → Panel Interview & Facility Tour (same day)

Duration: 1 year contract

Pay: $70-80/hr

• Provide guidelines for the design and selection of test equipment, testing protocols, and data collection programs
• Support, service, and troubleshoot test equipment and electrical systems
• Develop test equipment specifications ensuring OSHA and electrical safety compliance
• Perform root cause/failure analysis and mentor others in problem-solving techniques
• Guide capital equipment selection and evaluate Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs)
• Lead/co-lead cost-out initiatives and support Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement efforts
• Lead projects, budgets, and cross-functional resource alignment across Production, Quality, EHS, and Engineering
• Enforce safety expectations and ensure compliance with electrical standards and quality requirements
• Drive sustained change management processes within manufacturing operations

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computers/Math/Science from an accredited institution
• Minimum 3 years of test/controls engineering experience
• Experience with Rockwell Software (RSLogix, Studio 5000, Factory Talk), NI LabVIEW, NI Test Stand, PLC/HMI programming, and safety systems design

• 5+ years Controls/Test Engineering experience
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, FMEA, control charts, A3s, Pareto charts, etc.
• Experience interpreting electrical schematics, safety regulations (NFPA 70E), and troubleshooting control systems
• Prior experience in an Engineered-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment
