H&H is offering an exciting opportunity for a Structural Designer to join our growing team in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin office, focusing on movable bridge design and inspection. Our team of more than 600 employees across 30 offices nationwide delivers high‑quality engineering services to infrastructure owners, contractors, and partners.

• Create structure drawings using CAD software.
• Perform structural design calculations (beam, reinforced concrete, and steel structures) and develop sketches, computer modeling, and related technical work.
• Develop contract plans, special provisions, and engineer’s estimates.
• Assist with field inspections and condition assessments of bridges and other structures.
• Research design options, codes, and discuss findings with the project manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s is optional).
• Zero to two years of relevant experience.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain it within one year.
• Experience with analytical software such as SAP, CSI Bridge, LARSA 4D, etc.
• Experience with CAD software such as Micro Station or AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated, responsible, and strong work ethic.
• Familiarity with inspection, design, and construction of bridges or other structures.
