Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Reviewing accepted purchase orders at the time of order review to ensure they are scoped with precision and contractual requirements are clear.
- Creating and maintaining detailed program schedules in Microsoft Project, including key milestones from "After Receipt of Required Documents and Downpayment" (ARRDD) through startup.
- Setting schedule baselines at kickoff meetings and updating schedules weekly during Production Meetings.
- Keeping customers informed with status updates every 2 weeks (not to exceed 4 weeks) to assist their coordination with other vendors and services.
- Coordinating and conducting Sales Order Acceptance Review/Project Kick-Off Meetings with Sales, Engineering, IPEC, and Operations.
- Participating in Engineering Design Reviews to ensure outputs meet customer expectations.
- Monitoring the status of machine assembly on the shop floor to ensure no deviation from the plan.
- Using the new features of the CRM System which track costs to alert management when it looks like a job is going to go over budget.
- Accurately documenting customer-requested changes in writing and working with the Product Manager to issue "Customer Change Notices" (CCN) to capture cost, schedule, and mechanical/electrical impacts.
- Acting as a gatekeeper to ensure customers do not speak directly with engineering without a Product Manager/Director or Salesperson present.
- Inspecting equipment on the shop floor to ensure readiness for customer runoff and notifying the Project Engineer and CEO if the equipment is not ready.
- Coordinating professional runoffs with a clear agenda demonstrating that the equipment reliably performs as promised in the proposal.
- Working with the Systems Programmer and Executive Director of Operations to develop new workflows and systematized procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- 5 years of experience working in industrial manufacturing or engineering environment.
- 5 years in a position with of customer focused experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Having a mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service focused
