Collaborate with peers on projects that have a real‑world impact. From our processes to manufacturing, you’ll deliver a standout customer experience of Cisco products and services. Take your creative ideas from the drawing board to deliver powerful solutions. You’ll collaborate with multi‑functional teams to determine our infrastructure needs and product specifications.

Your Impact
  • Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment and packaging
  • Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified Cisco designs
  • Directly support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication
  • Provide design information to drafting for packaging documentation
Minimum Qualifications
  • Certification or degree within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, or other relevant educational experience as described.
  • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Creo, NX).
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++) for automation or data analysis is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues.
  • Experience in establishing and sustaining excellent relationships with an extended team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with basic simulation/analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD, ANSYS).
