Manufacturing Engineer

A Manufacturing Engineer will identify, communicate, and drive improvements throughout the production and engineering process. This position involves a direct reporting line to the Continuous Improvement Manager.

• Engage shop floor personnel and engineers on process improvements.
• Understand and control process inputs and outputs.
• Design processes to ensure quality and standardization.
• Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements.
• Assess manufacturing design and processes to recommend enhancements.
• Develop and optimize processes by designing and implementing manufacturing systems, optimizing workflows, and reducing waste and costs.
• Select, design, install, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot production line issues and recommend and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production staff.
• Analyze costs and efficiency by estimating production costs, times, and staffing requirements, and gathering statistics to assess efficiency.
• Conduct advanced problem solving and root cause analysis activities.
• Participate in and occasionally lead Kaizen events.

• 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3 years of lean manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3 years of time study experience and analysis.
• 3 years of troubleshooting machine experience.

• Experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Process engineering expertise.
• Continuous improvement proficiency.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge.
• ERP system familiarity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, WI.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
