We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Civil AutoCAD Technician and Designer to join our expanding Civil Engineering Department in Minneapolis, MN or Milwaukee, WI. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners on high-impact projects that shape communities and elevate the human experience.
In this role you will:- Associate or bachelor's degree related to C3D drawing production, engineering or similar. Other drafting qualifications/certifications will be considered.
- 5+ years of AutoCAD software design and drafting experience.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D.
- Strong understanding of design concepts including earthwork, surface, site grading, pipe network, ArcGIS, etc.
- Ability to read and translate architectural floor plans and technical drawings.
- Basic understanding of building design and mechanical processes.
- High degree of detail orientation and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Salary Range: $60,400 - $81,600 depending on qualifications and experience.
Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA's robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs.
