Be The Difference Begins with Great People. Join Marquette University’s Civil & Environmental Engineering department to conduct research and testing on water and wastewater treatment. This role prioritizes student success, community engagement, and advancing knowledge through innovative research, including developing novel electrochemical oxidation processes to destroy PFAS chemicals in water. You will have the opportunity to co‑author manuscripts for peer‑reviewed journals and contribute to the design of treatment unit operations.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of related experience.
- Skilled in standard tests to characterize water and wastewater.
- Experience in electrochemical oxidation of pollutants.
- Experience in performing Environmental Engineering Research.
- Experience training undergraduate students and other research team members on proper use of lab equipment and experimental setups.
