We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing team focused on commercial and industrial HVAC projects. The position will involve designing HVAC systems for a range of projects, including K-12 schools, higher education, hospitals, food processing, retail, and grocery stores. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects, including load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout.
  • Work with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure system designs meet project needs.
  • Provide direction to CAD technicians and ensure designs are executed according to project specifications.
  • Solve design issues during project execution and collaborate with the team to implement effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of project documentation, specifications, and schedules.
Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, specifically with commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, and system design.
  • Experience designing HVAC systems for projects such as K-12 schools, hospitals, food processing, retail, and grocery stores.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • A P.E. license is preferred but not required.
