In this role you will:
- Work under the guidance of the Project Engineer in the modeling of project solutions and construction documents with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and constructability.
- Produce drawings for electrical designs using Revit.
- Provide information to Project Engineer for incorporation into design documents.
- Assure that drawings and designs are in accordance with design standards.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.
- Keep the Project Manager informed of workload and status of deliverables.
- Work to refine and upgrade Revit standards and best practices.
You will need to have:
- Associate’s degree (minimum) in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Technology, with a focus on Revit and BIM Modeling.
- 0–4 years of experience preferred in modeling of lighting, power, and communications systems for healthcare, commercial, science & technology, and/or educational project types.
- Proficiency with Revit software and excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 or other building codes.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
