Our client, a leading manufacturer of electrical and industrial products, is seeking a New Product Development Test Technician to join their team. As a New Product Development Test Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Test Lab supporting Product Development, Quality, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: New Product Development Test Technician
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Pay Range:$37-$43/hr

What's the Job?
  • Conduct electrical, environmental, EMC/EMI, and certification testing to support new product development projects.
  • Execute UL, CSA, IEC, and other regulatory compliance testing and document results.
  • Operate laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power analyzers, data acquisition systems, and power supplies.
  • Troubleshoot products and test setups, identify root causes of failures, and support corrective actions.
  • Create detailed test reports and collaborate with engineering teams on design verification and validation activities.
What's Needed?
  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 3+ years of product testing, electronics testing, engineering laboratory, or validation testing experience.
  • Experience performing UL, CSA, IEC, or other regulatory certification testing.
  • Hands-on experience with EMC/EMI testing processes and electronic test equipment.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, use oscilloscopes and digital multimeters, and perform advanced troubleshooting.
