You define the cells, set the requirements, and lead outside integrators and machine builders through build, acceptance, and commissioning. You also work with product engineering to change designs where it makes automation simpler and more reliable.

This is an ownership role. You set the direction for the project and the vendors

  • Equipment specifications, RFQs, vendor selection, and project cost estimates
  • Integrator and machine builder performance through FAT, SAT, installation, and commissioning
  • Integration of electrical and functional test into automated cells
  • Startup, operator training, documentation, and handoff to operations

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Hands-on ownership of automated production lines or cells from concept through launch
  • Experience directing automation integrators, machine builders, and equipment vendors
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, industrial robotics, machine vision, servo motion, and industrial networks
  • Strong mechanical and electrical systems integration skills
