Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Senior FP&A Manager
. Our client is looking for someone with 8+ years of related experience, strategic and forward thinker!
The Senior FP&A Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Own the consolidation and review of monthly and quarterly forecasts across divisions, ensuring consistency, discipline, and continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead the segment SG&A forecasting process, promoting visibility into cost drivers across key North America functions and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
- Analyze monthly results against forecast, prepare variance explanations, and work with cost center owners to drive accountability and corrective actions.
- Serve as a primary finance partner for the Annual Operating Plan and long-range strategy processes, supporting development, coordination, and executive-level review.
- Maintain, enhance, and standardize financial reporting packages to ensure timely, accurate, and decision-useful insights for leadership.
- Advance visual and self-service reporting by leveraging Power BI and other analytics tools to improve clarity, accessibility, and impact of financial information.
- Deliver high-impact financial analysis and recommendations for executive and strategic initiatives, including ad hoc analyses that enable quick, at-a-glance business assessments.
- Actively participate in cross-functional project teams, contributing financial and operational expertise to drive execution of strategic and operational priorities.
- Provide leadership and guidance across the segment finance organization by strengthening FP&A frameworks, sharing best practices, and enabling consistent, high-quality standard work.
- Champion a continuous improvement mindset by identifying and driving opportunities for process enhancement, system improvements, and adoption of new technologies.
- Explore and support the use of automation, advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to improve forecasting quality, reporting speed, and overall finance effectiveness.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
The Senior FP&A Manager will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
