Job DescriptionAs a Staff Finance Auditor, you will conduct operational, financial, and Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance audits across the organization. You will build an understanding of the different areas/departments within the organization, develop a comprehensive understanding of the audit process, and will be given the opportunity to work on special projects. You will report to our Senior Manager, Internal Audit.
Your Responsibilities:- Perform audit procedures including conducting and documenting process walkthroughs, sample testing of detailed transactions and controls, financial analysis of accounting estimates and assumptions, and investigative analysis of the control environment’s effectiveness
- Prepare work papers that support the audit conclusion following auditing standards
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of our operational controls (including internal controls over financial reporting for SOX compliance)
- Identify internal control enhancements, process improvements, and cost‑saving opportunities
- Work with management to review issues and develop practical and applicable recommendations
- Incorporate data analytics into audit procedures
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships throughout the organization
- You Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the year (domestic & international)
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required – we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, not now or in the future, for this job opening
- Public Accounting or Internal Audit Experience
- 1+ years of experience with SAP and Audit Board (Audit Software)
- CPA or CIA
- Sound knowledge of internal control concepts and accounting standards including Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements
