• Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns using professional tax preparation software.
• Ensure all tax documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with current tax laws and regulations.
• Analyze financial data, review supporting documentation, and identify potential deductions or credits to maximize client benefits.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information, explain tax strategies, and answer questions about their filings.
• Stay updated on changes in tax law and regulations to provide expert guidance on tax reporting and compliance requirements.
• Assist in client acquisition efforts through building strong relationships with new prospects.

• Experience engaging with customers in a service-oriented environment
• Proven experience in tax preparation with a strong understanding of tax law and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in tax return preparation for individual clients.
• Proficiency with tax preparation software (such as Drake or similar platforms).
• Strong analysis skills combined with excellent math proficiency (including 10 key typing) to interpret financial data accurately.
• Knowledge of partnership taxation, corporate accounting practices, and technical accounting principles is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
• This is an in-person role at our tax office at 3600 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during tax season
