Medical Records Admission​/Release of Information Specialist

Horizon Home Care & Hospice is seeking a detail-oriented, customer service-focused Medical Records Specialist. If you are passionate about people and the world of behind-the-scenes health care this is the position for you.

This multi-tasking role requires meeting deadlines, strong follow-up skills, a good work ethic and interpersonal abilities.

• Maintains a Medical Record for all Agency clients that assures compliance with all State and Federal regulations
• Meets all current confidentiality standards
• Acts as a customer service representative for all office staff, field staff and for outside customers that require access to the information maintained in the Medical Record
• Receives, reviews and processes all release of information requests

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Certification in Medical Records preferred
• 2-3 years of office experience;
  Medical Records experience preferred
• Must possess excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and customer relation skills
• Current/Valid WI Drivers License; plus reliable/insured vehicle

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. No Weekends, No Holidays
