LocationMilwaukee, WI – FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.
OverviewThe Physical Therapist III provides comprehensive physical therapy services to patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care and treatment programs. The therapist participates in varied Rehabilitation Services department activities designed to enhance patient care and programs. A Physical Therapist III demonstrates advanced evaluation and treatment skills and is involved in program development, staff education, student supervision and/or assisting in department supervision and day-to-day operations.
The role also requires solid leadership skills and other duties as assigned.
- Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care and treatment programs.
- Participate in varied Rehabilitation Services department activities to enhance patient care and programs.
- Contribute to program development, staff education, student supervision, and assist in department supervision and day-to-day operations.
- Demonstrate advanced evaluation and treatment skills and exhibit solid leadership.
- Minimum 3 years experience meeting Level 2 responsibilities (determined by interview and assessment).
- Preferred 5 years experience as a clinical therapist.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Wisconsin state license as a Physical Therapist.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an equivalent within 3 months of hire.
- Proficient at all PT Level 2 competencies.
- Maintain productivity levels (except when working on special projects).
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and consistently model and champion Froedtert & MCW Customer Service Standards.
