Orthopedic Clinic Lead Technologist – Froedtert Hospital

Location: Milwaukee, WI, Froedtert Hospital facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Position: 0.90 FTE, 36 hrs weekly.

Job Summary

Serves in the lead capacity for the Diagnostic Radiology Department. Responsible for daily operations, assigning work, ensuring appropriate staffing, providing guidance and technical assistance, monitoring adherence to guidelines, and interacting effectively with imaging and medical/clinical staff, patients and customers. Provides constructive direction to Imaging staff and leadership, exemplifies customer service standards, and supports organizational excellence initiatives. Performs all duties outlined in the Radiologic Technologist job description, serves as a formal preceptor to onboard new employees, and demonstrates flexibility by assisting with scheduling, including weekend, holiday, and call coverage where applicable.

Experience

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of radiologic technologist experience preferred.
Education Requirements
  • Graduate of an ARRT approved radiologic technology program.
Skills
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workflow.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with self‑motivation.
Licensure & Certifications
  • ARRT (R) registered and current State of WI Radiographer license.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent within 90 days of hire.

Seniority Level: Mid‑Senior

Shift: Shift 1, Mon‑Fri 06:30‑15:00, one day off every 2 weeks, no scheduled holidays, no weekends, no on‑call shifts.
