About The Role

Massage Therapist - Research Triangle Park, NC

Hours based on appointments, up to 24 hours/week

Health Fitness is looking for a Massage Therapist to join the team at our corporate client site in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina (near RTP Headquarters). In this position, you will be responsible for administering professional table and/or chair massage services to a wide variety of members and guests.

Anticipated schedule:
Tues/Wed/Thurs 9:30am - 4:30 pm (hours are flexible)

Key Accountabilities

• Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.
• General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.
• Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on site table and/or chair massage in a corporate setting.
• Must function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies.

Minimum Requirements

• Massage Therapy License for the state of North Carolina required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Council, or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• 2+ years of massage therapy experience required.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Experience in sports massage techniques.
• Good communication skills; listening and verbal.

Compensation: $16/hr plus commission of 55% of massage session price.
