We’re hiring full-time Orthodontic Assistants for our fast-paced, patient-focused practice. No experience? No problem — we provide paid, on-the-job training to set you up for success. Candidates must be flexible and willing to travel to our Milwaukee, Franklin, Wauwatosa, and Muskego offices as needed.

What You ll Do
  • Prepare and sanitize treatment units before each patient
  • Greet and seat patients promptly, ensuring they are never left unattended
  • Anticipate and assist the orthodontist during procedures
  • Accurately chart patient procedures, including charges, codes, and scheduling for follow-up visits
  • Dismiss patients while explaining procedures and progress to parents
  • Maintain strict confidentiality according to HIPAA and other relevant guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary to support the operations of the clinic
Clinical Procedures
  • Master and perform all tasks outlined in the training checklist
  • Use downtime effectively and proactively
  • Provide support to clinic operations and assist the clinical team during unexpected appointment delays
  • Support Treatment Coordinator (TC) as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Familiarity with medical or dental terminology is a plus
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and writing
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Consistently showcases versatility in thriving independently and contributing constructively to team dynamic
  • Willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the clinic
  • Maintain a professional appearance and behavior at all times
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and patient needs
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
  • Strong hand-eye coordination
  • Full range of motion
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Maintaining a positive and proactive attitude
