Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician provides pharmacy services under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, preparing and distributing pharmaceuticals, performing inventory control, compliance audits, providing customer service, and maintaining pharmacy records.
PayRate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications- Current Pharmacy Technician certification from the state board of pharmacy or intern license from the state board
- One year previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or student in accredited college of pharmacy
- Hospital Experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames.
