Schedule: Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs (7:15am‑4:45pm), Fri (7:15am‑11:15am)
DirectPatient‑facing role primarily responsible for performing hands‑on patient care and supporting providers while in clinic. Typical daily duties include interacting with patients while performing standard rooming, taking vitals, administering vaccines, setting up and turning over rooms, specimen collection, and assisting providers as needed. Completing patient refill requests, following standard system refill protocol. Other duties as assigned.
Job SummaryThe Medical Assistant (MA/MA Sr) is a healthcare professional and essential member of the patient‑centered healthcare team. They are instrumental in helping patients feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patient's visit.

Medical Assistant (MA):
- Education:
High school diploma (or GED) required plus one of the following: completion of MA program, completion of EMT‑Basic course, trained on the job MA AND one year experience in health care, completion of MA Apprentice program - Certification:
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Providers (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within 90 days of hire - Experience:
1 year of healthcare experience preferred
Medical Assistant Senior (MA Sr):
- Education:
HS Diploma or GED required - Certification: AHA BLS or equivalent required within 90 days of hire
- Additionally, one of the following is required: military medic/corpsman training (must also obtain one of the certifications or licenses below within 6 months of hire); certified/registered medical assistant through one of the following: A ‑OE, CMA, RMA, NRCMA, CCMA, NPCE; certified paramedic, advanced EMT, graduated from an accredited LPN program and current active LPN license, or other certification from an approved body as maintained by Froedtert Human Resources
- Experience:
1 year of experience as medical assistant or in the field of the credential held required
